Students and faculty at Santa Rita Elementary will welcome a new classmate on September 25.
Named "Viola", the classmate will be a sheep from Downtown San Angelo, Inc.
She will be unveiled at 5:15 p.m. at 615 South Madison.
The sheep is a collaborative effort of students, teachers, staff and others who have worked hard to make her one of the best sheep statues in San Angelo.
The sheep statues are part of a community awareness/fund raising effort by Downtown San Angelo, Inc., which h is a Main Street Accredited program.
