A San Angelo man is recovering from a gunshot wound to the face after a shooting last night at the intersection of Ninth Street and North Chadbourne.
Police said officers were dispatched to the area at approximately 8:15 p.m. and found Enemencio DeLaRosa, 35, suffering from gunshot wounds to his facial area.
DeLaRosa was transported to a hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Alan Helms, 34, was later identified as the suspect. He was taken into custody at the scene. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
